Personal Statement
I have many goals that I would like to reach in college, in both my academic and athletic career. My success so far, as a student and an athlete, is due to my hard work and dedication inside of school and out. Before I began running track and field, I was a full- time gymnast. Due to this experience, I have, from a young age, learned how important it is to give 100% of your effort all the time in order to reach your full potential. My busy schedule with all honors courses, along with varsity gymnastics and track, has helped me develop solid time management skills. While my career path is still being decided, I do have an interest in the physical therapy field. In track and field, I hope to continue improving in the hurdles, pole vault, and long jump, in order to help my college team succeed at the highest level. My individual goals include qualifying for nationals each year in college, along with many other prestigious meets.I look forward to gaining new knowledge and experience from my college coaches and fellow teammates. I will be willing to work as long and hard as told to in order to reach these goals.
