Personal Statement
In college, I hope to be able to run track while also maintaining good grades. I've been running track since 7th grade and doing varsity high jump since 10th grade. Over the years I have improved my techniques and have become much stronger. I believe that I would be a good candidate for your team because I'm hard working and willing to learn new skills and techniques from coaches and other athletes while also sharing my previous knowledge with my fellow teammates. I'm also good at managing my time so that I can accomplish my academic and athletic goals with minimum stress.
