Personal Statement
My objective is to be admitted to a distinguished college/university for the Fall of 2017 where I plan to focus my studies in the pursuit of a career in Exercise Science or Athletic Training. I also plan to be a member of the track and field team. I am a determined and passionate individual who is looking for an opportunity to be a positive influence on my team as well as in the community. I will endeavor to make a difference on both.
If asked, the three character traits that my friends would use to describe me would be dedicated, confident and caring. Dedicated describes my approach to everything in my life. No matter the situation, whether it is something I have experience with, or a new challenge, I approach it with commitment and enthusiasm. I would also be described as a very confident individual. I believe confidence gives us the courage to face life head on, to tackle those things that may seem beyond our capabilities. Additionally, I can be described as a very caring person. I find that giving of myself, whether it is the sharing of knowledge and experience, or just my time, is extremely satisfying.
Finally, I always conduct myself with honor and respect, knowing that I am not only representing myself, but my team, coaches and school.
