I'm Erin Daly. I have a great appreciation for running and because of this love I have become a key runner on my high school's cross country team and track team. Last xc season I placed 11th overall in my division at state sectionals. As a junior, I had the number one ranking on my team. My placement in sectionals helped my team move onto Groups for the first time in 4 years. This year I was voted Captain of the cross country team , and of the three captains, I had the majority of the votes. I think that this shows how I tend to be a leader on my team, and that because of my love for the sport I like to think that I inspire other runners on my team.
As I move closer to the next phase in my life, that being college, I've given a lot of thought about where I want to go to school and my major. No matter how long I spend thinking about this dilema, I still can't find an answer. I prefer schools in an suburban environment that are not far from the city. Rutgers University happens to be one of my favoite schools because of its great location. My interests as to what I plan to study in college are not fully thought out. I know that I am interested in majoring in something where I'd be able to help people. As of now my interest as to what I want to study is nursing.
