Personal Statement

I have set many goals for myself. The reason why I have set these goals is because I believe and know I will complete them. My high school athletic goals are breaking the school record for shot put, to compete in the New Balance Nationals, and to be recruited for track by a college of my choice. What make me a good candidate for a college track team is I'm a hard worker, a fighter, and I love what I do. Working hard and going the extra mile makes anyone better. This also applies to my school work. I take and have taken honors classes. School is important to me since there is always something to learn. I'm extremely fond of writing. It's a way of self expression and creativity. In college I plan to major in Film and Media Arts. In addition I also have an interest in Criminal Justice. In the future I would like to intern and start working at Marvel Comics as a writer. I want to work my way up to become the Chief Creative Director. To achieve this would be a dream come true.
