Ever since I can remember, I have had an intense desire to be competitive in any activity of my life. Growing up as the second oldest of six children, I have always had someone looking up to me to set a positive example. I try to always set the example that one can do anything and that ones expectations for themselves should be limitless. I LOVE a challenge and try to set goals that will do just that. Although I have not lived a very long life, growing up in a Christian household I have met many struggles and obstacles that have tried to waver my deeply rooted faith. But without these struggles I would not have grown to be the person that I have become today. Psalm 46:10 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".
Throughout my life I have always loved the running aspect of whatever sport I was involved in, from the sprints at the end of soccer and basketball practice to then wanting to go for runs before and after practices. My love for running has always been in me I just never realized it until I was able to run track my freshman year. I chose to stop playing soccer after playing it my whole life, when I found a sport to challenge me more individually then I have ever been mentally and physically. I have always pushed for more and wanted more from my body and mind in every aspect of my life. Having a coach that is willing to push me more then I can push myself and see my potential and absolute passion for running would be a blessing. I need someone that can see more in me than I see in myself and who can help me see my dreams and make them become a reality not only for myself but for my team in college.
