When I first began running, it was just a secondary activity to soccer, which I have been playing at a very competitive level since I was 8. But as I have grown older, running has become one of my great passions.
I have recently given up soccer and decided to focus on my running full-time, along with my school work. As number one in my class, I must work diligently to maintain that while being the best runner I can be. My self motivation drives me to do so. My inner competitiveness pushes me towards being the best version of myself, and I would love to continue trying to reach that point through running in college.
