My passion for track and field began in 4th grade as a young student athlete.  Right away, I realized the power my legs held as I took fist place in high jump as a 5th grader.  The moment I received the Athletic Achievement award for my elementary school class, my quest for success as a respected, role model athlete began.  Through all the sports I participate in, especially track and field &XC, I have come to learn that I have an unquenchable thirst for success, and will never stop until my potential is reached.  As an honors student in high school, I have learned that balancing athletics and education is essential in becoming not only a student athlete but a respected individual and I will continue these good habits in college.  I am physically fit and capable, self motivated, adaptable, versatile, reliable, organized, persistent, very competitive, detail oriented and meets deadlines. 

I will always go the extra mile to reach beyond my goals.
