Running has always been a passion of mine. I have been apart my high school's track team since I was a freshman and the cross country team since my sophomore year. I love a bit of competition inside the classroom and in my races. Not only do I work hard on the track, but I work hard in my classes so that I can really develop my learning and understanding in preparation for my potential major. When I have a goal to work for, it helps me to focus on moving forward. It is my goal to be able to compete on a college level team so that I can take my love and passion for running beyond my high school years.
I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and because of my beliefs I do not run or train on Sunday's. This, however, does mean I am willing to work hard the rest of the week.
