Angelina Perrone '16 Recruiting Profile

I am a well rounded student as well as an athlete. My passions are track in which i run distance and i was pulled up to varsity in my 8th grade year and i have broken reccords that have not been broken in deccades. I also run cross country and have been doing that for three years. I am also very involved in music. I have been playing the trumpet since i was in fourth grade and i have been in jazz ensemble,wind ensamble,jazz band,stage band,concert bamd, all county, and i have participated nyssma and done well with theat every year since 6th grade. i have also won medals for being an outstanding soloist for improvisation at a music in the parks competition. i am also a well rounded softball player. I have been playing for over eight years and i have been catching for seven of those eight years. i can play any position but my strongest point is catching and i am a power hitter. i have played on many travel teams and have been pulled up to an 18u travel team when i was twelve. however i have recently broken my catching hand thumb and had two sugeries but my hand is on its way to a quick one hundred percent recovery. My goal is to get to colleges that i can not only help myself in the future but to help the team succeede and to become a better athlete and student in the future.
