In October, 2016 I received an FASFA grant of approximately $5,800. I am totally dedicated in everything I do. I love to run. Last year I logged a total of 1,426.94 miles. Team mate, Anna Hollerith, was second with 531.60. I also excel in other sports. On July 4, 2012 I ran a 5k in Jackson, Ohio. I finished first female and the Shawnee State University team was in the race. They convinced me to drop all other sports. I did it again in 2014 and they are reciting me. I have not missed a day of school since I entered high school in 2013.
I am willing to sacrifice for the benefit of the team. Last year in track I ran mostly relays which kept me from a PR in many of my best events. I never ran an open 1600 or 400
I am just as dedicated in the classroom. My high school does not give extra credit for advanced course and that is keeping me from a higher that 3.7. They do give extra credit for juniors and seniors. That should help me next year.
My grandfather that I live with has just about exhausted his savings to give me everything a young lady wants. I will have to have a full ride or go the Military Route. Update: I now have $5,800 per year.
