Personal Statement
I have two ultimate goals: to work in the medical field, and to run college track. Unlike many other recruits that want the same things as me, I am willing to work twice as hard; my talent is there, but it's my work ethic that truly makes me strive. Every time I go out to a competition or meet, I work to improve my time and beat the people around me. At school, I am very focused and organized; I strive for a 4.0 every single quarter and try my best every single test, every single day, and every single week.
Without the facilities, like a track, that many other schools have, it is hard to truly train for my specific race during the high school season. One of the things I look forward to as a college athlete, is having the resources, facilities and equipment I need to improve my times even further. I feel so very blessed to have this opportunity, and am working very hard to attain my two ultimate goals.
