Personal Statement
I am very dedicated to both my studies and my athletics. I am self-motivated, and love to be involved. I wish to go into the medical field. I have been working hard this year to both improve my times on the track, and work hard at my education. It is my goal to put in hard work until I can be a student-athlete in college. I train 6 to 7 days a week for about 3 hours a day on my track skills. I lift weights regularly, and am willing to do what it takes to continue running the 400 in college. This season (2015) I broke my school's 400m school record, placed 3rd in the state of Oregon for 4A girls in the 400 meter run, and placed 7th in the 200 meter run for 4A girls at state. I also was the starting leg of our 4x100 meter relay which placed 8th at state, and was the anchor leg of our 4x400 meter relay at state, which placed first in state this year and broke the school record which we set last year at the state meet.
