My name is Katie Rice-Whittingham. Track and field is such an important aspect of my life; being able to continue to grow in my abilities and compete in college is a big goal of mine. Belonging to a community where I am able to push myself to find new limits and make strong connections with my teammates and coaches is something that I look for in a program.
I am constantly looking for opportunities to grow as an athlete and an individual. I am open to feedback and communication from my coaches. new challenge and to be pushed by my coaches and teammates. It is not uncommon for me to be competing in multiple events such as the heptathlon and various open events and a relay all at the same track meet. I find it fulfilling to be able to represent my team in all my events. And I would not have it any other way.
My drive to be successful and grow pushes me to be productive both academically and athletically. In all aspects of my life I am looking for challenges and areas where I can grow. I am eager to find a program that is a good fit for me.
