Lexis Frost '12 Recruiting Profile

As an athlete, I strive towards success. This track season I competed in indoor track as well as outdoor track.  My indoor track season I won indoor championships in triple jump, and received 4th place in the hurdles. I also qualified for indoor states in the triple jump.  Following my indoor season I competed in outdoor track and ran and jumped some of my best times and distances. I broke our school record in the hurdles at the Butler Invitational running a 15.2, I also won the triple jump and received 1st in the 4x1.  I placed 4th place at the Baldwin Invitational in the triple jump, jumping 37'1.5.  I qualified for WPIAL individual championships in the 100 meter hurdles, triple jump and 4x1.  My team also won the WPIAL team championships.  As a competitor I am very versatile and willing to try new events. This year I decided to concentrate on training for track and stopped competing in competitive gymnastics.  I was pleased with my results but believe I will excel even more since this was my first year training for track.  I believe all my prior years of gymnastics training have help with body strength, coordination and determination. I want to be a contributor to college track team while work to further my education.  You will find that I am a leader; I am easy to coach and love to learn.  I want to use my experience as a team member as I further my education and eventually in my working career.
