Personal Statement

I have been a USAG Gymnast for 11 years most of which were under the direction of the World Champion Natalia Yurchenko.  What I learned from Gymnastics has been valuable in my high school athletics and academics.  I push hard and work through the pain, I set goals and give 100%+ dedication.

Academics are most important to me as I expect a lot from myself and work hard at getting it. I am an honor roll student.  I am looking for a University with an excellent Business program and want to participate in track and field while I am attending. 

I really enjoy track and field, jumping is my strength.  I have qualified for PIAA 2A District Championship in my Freshman Sophomore & Junior year & Senior year. Junior year I qualified for States in both Long and Triple Jump and met the National Silver Standard.
I volunteer as a "volunteen" at the Meadows a retirement home through Susquehanna Hospital.  I love interacting with the residents and learning from them. I have fun and enjoy spending time with everyone.  I am the President of Spirit Club, a 3 year Varsity Cheerleader. Track Captain Junior /Senior year Varsity Track Team 4 years.  Varsity Girls Golf Team.  I am the Public Relations Officer of Eco Act and a member of SADD and  Inter-Act Clubs.
