My name is Savannah and I have been running since my freshman year.
I am very dedicated and am a harder worker than anyone you have ever met. My father served in the military and has been deployed several times to Iraq/Afghanistan. I have lived through several personal tragedies that have changed and prevented me from being as active as I would like. I have overcome these hurdles and dominated in the class room. I am more then willing to share my story in depth to the right person but it is very raw, very personal and something I dont feel should be posted for all to see. I run for fun, I run to escape, I run to be healthy, I run to compete and I run because I can....I can because life is a gift and I want to accomplish many things.
I may not have the high school recognition that others have because life has put my family in some situations that we could not prepare for. I have grown up much faster than most kids my age and if given a chance to excel I know I can in the classroom and the track. I am what a student athlete should be. I work hard, I study, I have values and morals that will not bring shame or controversy to me or my school.
I know if someone takes a chance and believes in me as much as I do, and you value character, strength, courage and perserverance than I am your next recruit.
