My dream is to run in college. I feel like I'm a very coachable athlete, and once I'm put into a competitive environment, I will excel. I just need to chance to make that possible. Since I attend a small private high school, there's never been nearly as much competition as the public schoolers. I understand that I'm not the fastest runner out there, but I'm willing to work my hardest and try my best. I don't care if I'm the worst runner on the team, for that will push me to run faster. I know this sounds bad, but I think it'd be good to be the slowest runner on the team because then I'd have something to work for and be motivated to improve every day. My dream goal is to break 18:00 in the 5k, and if not this year in cross country then in college. If all else fails, I plan on walking on somewhere and beating some scholarship athletes.
