Track is something I take passion in because my focus stays on point. This love for track began my freshman year in High School. My realization sparked when I saw the potential of me being a pure talented athlete. One thing I greatly enjoy is encouraging others around me to do their best before and after their events. It reminds me to discipline myself to work harder when I don't do so well in my own events. My personal best time in the 100 meter dash is a 12.3. I stopped running the 100 to strengthen my 200 performance which is now at a PR of 25.98. This past summer in 2013, I began running the 400 meter dash and got down to a PR of 59.82. I am currently a senior at Prosper High School. My goals this 2014 track season is to work harder to decrease my times and earn a scholarship to a college where I can remain focus and compete at a higher level. ! I am excited to step up to the challenge!
