My name is Sydney Stringer and I am a Multi-Sport Athlete in the class of 2025. I am new to Track and Field but I already feel like it is something I was born to do! I have been a high level competitive soccer player for the past 6 years. I current play for STING ROYAL ECNL (Elite Clubs National League). After a Junior High Coach encouraged me this year I decided to try Track for the first time. I ran the 400meter Dash in 4 track meets this season and won all 4 meets. I am the current RISD District Champion in the 400meter Dash and my current PR is 1:01.84. I have fallen in love with Track and Field. All of the other sports I have played have so many different variables and so many things out of your control that can affect your success. What I love so much about Track is that I am in control. If I work harder than everyone else on the Track and in the weight room, and I want it more on race day, I can control the outcome. I love to compete and Track lets me truly compete head to head with the best. I take pride in how hard I work and I know I will give everything I have in me to my team at the next level.
