Personal Statement

I'm a person that believes in Faith, Family and EXTREME HARD WORK. I have been taught to lead by example my whole life. I will be a major asset to any program because of this attribute. "SEPARATION IS IN THE PREPARATION" Anything other than 100% everyday is unacceptable and I won't tolerate anything less from myself. Though I'm listed as a mid distance runner, I'm just a runner. I will run wherever my coach needs me. I feel I can help a team win a championship by being able to compete in anything from the 800 meters  to the 10,000 meters.  I am a three time State qualifier in Cross Country and district champion in 2016 running a 11.53 2 mile. I am a two time State Outdoor Track and Field qualifier going into my Junior year.  As a sophomore (2015)  I was district champion in the 800 meters running 2:32.00 and the third leg on the state qualifying 4x400 relay.  My current 800 meter PR is 2:27:02 and 1600 meters is 5:29:21. I am a two time state qualifier in tennis in both singles and doubles, going into my Junior year. I am 2016 All State Academic.  My belief is that by participating in multiple sports at the varsity level benefits me by competing. I am competing all year. This has helped me perfect the art of preparation.

My goals for the collegiate portion of my life are excellence in academic studies as well as track. I will use my college experience for what it's made for. To prepare me academically, socially and physically for my dream of one day owning my own business. 

Please know that I'm the type of student / athlete you want in your University and program. One that's going to give 100%, 100% of the time  "EVERYONE HAS THE WILL TO WIN, BUT ONLY A FEW HAVE THE WILL TO PREPARE TO WIN".
