Courtney Krueger '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'7" Track and Field thrower in Cordova, Tennessee. I have been throwing shot put for 11 years and the discus for 1. I placed 8th at the TSSAA State Track Meet in '08 as a freshman. I also placed 8th at the AAU Nationals in the Summer of '08 in Detroit, Michigan. I currently hold a 4.3 GPA and a work-in-progress ACT score of 22. My dream in life is to become an Olympic thrower. In order to achieve that goal, college athletics are where I start. I would like to attend a prestigious university for academics as well as athletics. Size, geographic location, or division of the school is not top priority to me. My first area to satisfy in my college life would be academics, and I am also hoping to obtain a scholarship that will allow me to begin my college athletic career as soon as possible along with my education. Academically, I would like to be in a setting where it is possible for me to get one-on-one attention if needed. I am open to all options in all regions of importance of my university.
