When I first joined Track and Field back in middle school, I joined just for the fun of things. I'm only 5'3 now, and a 135 lbs, but was later told of my natural ability to jump and was asked to join high jump. As a fast learner and hard worker, I picked up the new field event. I've continue to run track, but secretly, high jump truly has my heart. Despite how long I stay after school to improve my form and work on my vertical jump, I enjoy to watch myself improve and work hard in getting better. There were some hard days, but I still stick with this sport and dedicate everything to getting better in track and field. I continually work out during the summer and picked up cross country in hopes of making myself stronger for track season. I would be content in most schools, for I just want to run and continue to jump all through my college years. In college, I plan to work to be come a doctor one day, and I would enjoy college even more if I could still compete and work on getting better in track and field, but perferably high jump. I would love to be recruited to run and jump for all of my college years.
