Amanda Yager '15 Recruiting Profile

Hello track coaches! My name is Amanda Yager and I hope to continue my track career in college at a university. I’m 5’7 and weigh 120 pounds. I’ve run track since the 5th grade and that’s when I began to compete during the summer as well. The events that I do well in are, 4x1, 100, 400, 300 hurdles, High Jump, Long Jump, and the open 200 this past Summer I qualified for nationals in the 4x8 and the Heptathlon.  My high school experience with track and field has been a good and challenging obstacle, most of the girls that I’ve ran with are the same since middle school so we all work well together, but I’m always up and excited to work with new people. I love a challenge and am wiling to push myself to different levels so that I can be the best that I can achieve. I’m open to run at any college that myself will allow and am excited for what the future holds.
