Personal Statement

My name is Imani Hanson and I am currently a senior at Andress High School. I have been competing in track and cross country since I was 8 years old & been blessed to have competed against some of the nations best athletes every year at the USATF National Junior Olympic track meet which I've quailified for every year.  Also qualified for Regionals my first three years and last year was a regional finalist in 300mH and 4x400m. I truly understand the hard work and dedication it takes to be a student athlete and I would love to continue at the collegiate level. My grades are great in all subjects and have been taking dual credit and AP classes.  I feel I have good leadership qualities that can help any team.
