My goals in college is to improve my academic and athletic skills. I want to develop and become more educated in my field of study so that I can have a successful career after college. I want to help improve the track team and make the experience better on and off the track with a fun, hardworking and positive attitude. I am a good candidate for colleges because I have been on varsity track my freshman, sophomore, and junior year of high school and as a sophomore I made the all state team. I am the captain and MVP for my team and I enjoy helping my team mates so that we can improve as a whole, I know that with my personality I can create a great environment for the team. I stay on top of my grades with a 3.8 GPA and when I do see that I am struggling with a class I go to receive help immediately because I know that my coaches and team mates are counting on me. Athletically I am very resourceful , I can run any sprint and any relay that I am needed in. Although I do have my favorite races I know that sometimes I have to put my preferences aside and do what's best to help the team succeed. I am originally from Michigan and moved to Texas in 2008. I know how to deal with all types of weather. I am coachable and want to improve my strength, technique and flexibility. Academically I will devote my time to studying and communicate with my professor to maintain a GPA of a 3.0 at a minimum. I was a District champion in the 200,4 by 200m relay and the 4 by 400 relay. Area champion in the 200 and 4 by 200 m relay. Regional champion in the 200, and 4 by 200m relay. My senior year my goal is to run an 11.8 in the 100m and a 23.8 in my 200m. I want to help take my team all the way to state again next year and win, I also wish to bring my winning attitude to the team.
