I have always had a very strong passion for running since about age eight. Despite being judged by strangers and friends for loving to run, I never let it slow me down. I never give up and I never intend to. Running is more to me than a hobby or a sport, it's a lifestyle, a feeling, and it is part of who I am. I'm not just saying that to make me appear good and committed to coaches; I am saying it because every word is typed with total honesty. I have a wall full of medals, ribbons and pictures of my experiences running track. I own two sets of running blocks, and so much more equipment. When I was eleven my plan was - when I die, I want to be cremated and made into a track- and after that it was - I want to marry a track runner and have our wedding on a track. Running is in my blood and has been for many generations.
I enjoy joy volunteering at daycares and almost anywhere involving young children. Almost every summer i run the arts and crafts at my church's vacation bible school. My younger brother, who is four, constantly try's to beat me in racing, so I have begun to coach him to be a better runner. Little kids have always been important to me and I enjoy helping out the best to my ability.
I take all AP or Pre-AP classes and plan to do the same next year along with all the dual credit courses I can. In order to stay enrolled at my current school I must maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher.
