Personal Statement
I am a 2016 graduate from Richmond, Texas. I aspire to further my education in the area of healthcare while balancing it out with my passion, track and field. I am determined, dedicated and I have a huge heart when it comes to the sport. I realize that there is always room for improvement; I remain humble and adhere to all of coach's directives. I can take correction, as I know it is only for me to become a better athlete and eventually get it right.
I carry a 3.8 GPA; I strive to produce above and beyond what my peers produce in terms of assignments and projects--so I can become what I want to be in life. I also believe that if you do not have a good education, you have nothing. I cannot wait to pursue my career in the healthcare field, as I love helping people and I love the hospital environment. I yearn to go to bed knowing that what I do for a living makes a real difference in people's lives. Sometimes, even saves them. In the future, I would like to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). I intend on acquiring a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and then practicing as an RN for some time before earning a Master's Degree in Nurse Anesthesia and going on to become a CRNA.
