Personal Statement

Two passions in my life include airplanes and running. I have been running track since age 6 and love it more and more every year. I love running and love to win! I even love the practices! My focus is not on being noticed out on the field, but on the work and training that make it all worth it when I cross that finish line. In September 2014, I began training with Lindsey Anderson--she is a 400M specialist with Michael Johnson Performance Clinic who currently trains the Brazilian men's 4x400 Olympic team. I run with the McKinney Track Attack club team which is over an hour drive from my home, but I really like the professionalism and positive attitude of this team! I am interested in some great colleges that have strong track teams and aviation/aeronautical science programs. I earned my Solo Pilot License on April 4, 2016. I also work votech at a local private airport once a week. I look forward to working toward my degree in aviation while continuing with my track career.
