Personal Statement
Coming from a soccer team that always does great was a big switch up for me when I came to run track. The prior injuries that occurred made me want to grow and focus more as well as think long term. It was a change in attitude for me. Now I think with an 'attitude of purpose.'
I was fortunate enough to be part of an amazing program, where we had fun but got the job done as a team. Thats is where I learned the values of integrity, personal courage, and selfless service. Which helped me in the transition of sports and different areas of my life. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I am a three sport athlete, a JROTC cadet, as well as a leader, but most importantly I'm coachable.
