Ekaterina Matora '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Katia Matora, I am 5'7 and weigh 120lb. I run the 800m and 1500 and have a lot of experience and knowledge due to my years of club USATF running and my mother, who was a world ranked athlete for the 1500m and at one point was 7th in the world. I am very determined and hard on my self, I believe that you can achieve almost anything with hard work and determination, this mind-set seems to influence other athletes on my teams to become more focused runners. I am interested in  schools with high academic preformances and a succesful track programs, but other than that I am open to different types of schools. I have not yet narrowed down a specific major, but I know I would like to study something in the medical and/ or scientific research departments. My goals are to achieve high running and academic preformances.
