Personal Statement

Growing up, I’ve always had that drive and mind set to build my pathway for my future. Running and jumping has given me the opportunity to broaden my horizon in life. I want to become the most successful person I can be and Track and Field will help me get there. I’ve created and built opportunities for competing in collegiate sports. With hard work, dedication, and the support of my family and friends, I know I can achieve anything if I set my mind to it. I want to contribute to my team and to be part of their journey towards winning. I want to be part of something greater than myself. I want to compete in the Pac-12 championships and help my school earn an NCAA title

My aspirations are to go beyond what is imaginable and to create the future. I want to be the new mind in medical research and to question everything. I love to ask questions and I want to create for the better of humanity and to become the next leading scientist. Through sports, I get the experience of hard work and struggles that I will face later on in life. These opportunities present themselves to me, and I look at them head on with excitement.

I have the edge to push and drive and this presents itself through academics and sports. On the field I not only push myself, but others around me. I choose to learn how I can contribute to the team. I can not  only make myself a better asset, but also how I can help my team become something great. This difference gives me deferential qualities. I love winning and to put myself out there for my school and to show pride in the programs I take part in.

I’m willing to learn new possibilities whether its toward my academics or my sport. To take someone’s advice and to focus on what they are saying. I’m different with my will toward creating my own future. I want to have a hand in my life and control over my situations. Success is not given, but earned and I’m ready to except responsibility for the hardship and to conquer it. I need a team and program to surround me toward my success. I have support of family, friends, but I look forward to having a team and school to cheer me forward in life.
