Personal Statement

I am driven to succeed. I want to be the best and I want to see my teammates succeed. I put in 100% in everything I do both on the field and in the classroom. I believe in myself. I am a straight A/A+ student. In high school, I am enrolled to take all honor level classes (except where none exist like PE), am double accelerated in math, am a member of National Junior Honor Society and I am active in my church.

I love to run. I feel so accomplished and satisfied after a workout. Nothing feels better than crossing the finish line of a race with a new personal record or a first place medal. I am fast and I am consistent. Many of my coaches and coaches from other teams have approached me about what they see when I run. They have commented that no matter my placement, I continue to work hard and push myself. I increase my speed when others are tiring and slowing down. I maintain a winners pace and can summon extra energy when needed.

My goal in the professional world is to someday become a doctor and make a difference in the world. I am studying Latin to help prepare me for that. I have asked my Latin teacher in middle school for extra projects geared toward medicine and I am now working on labeling the bones of the body in Latin. To be a doctor would be my ultimate success story.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
