Personal Statement
Although track and field hasn't always been apart of my life, I have learned that without it, I wouldn't be half the person I am today. A major contributor for my love of track is my love for God. My favorite Bible verse is 1 Corinthians 9:24-27. In my mind, it means that I should always compete to win the everlasting prize of God, rather than a prize that is only temporary. "To give anything less than the best, is to sacrifice the gift." These are the words that come to my mind when thinking about what is in store for my future. It has always been a dream and goal of mine to compete at the collegiate level. I always strive to be the best I can be in sports, school, and life in general.
