Personal Statement
Hi, I'm Elizabeth Brunner from West Allis, Wisconsin. I am a very optimistic person that is focused on academics and athletics. My family has always been the most important aspect of my life because they are so supportive. I look forward to competing in triple jump at a college level. I've been jumping since 7th grade and I have always been very confident and self-motivated to improve. I also love expanding my knowledge academically. I intend on becoming a radiologist after college. I work very well as an individual and as part of a team. My all-time favorite quote is, "The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible" by Arthur C. Clarke. My coach gave it to our team my freshman year before our regional meet. Ever since then, it has been my motto. This quote applies to my outlook both in the classroom and on the track. In order to succeed, you need to push yourself. No matter what setting I'm in, I am very committed to what I do and I am willing to work my hardest.
