Personal Statement
My name is Krysta Pierstorff and I am a 5 foot 8, 120 pound runner from Waukesha, WI. I joined cross country my freshman year not only because I have always had a love for running but to mainly stay in shape for basketball. I never thought running would begin to play such a major role in my life. The team aspect of cross country and track is very important to me and I believe that by developing a great relationship with all of my team mates it allows everyone on the team to have fun, to push each other and to work harder.In a sport like cross country the team aspect is not even possible without a fully functioning five runners. Although I am somewhat new to the sport I think that I can add a lot to a collegiate team because of my work ethic and my desire to keep developing and improving. With that said I am also proud of my work ethic in the class room. I am open to a variety of geographical locations and I feel that I could fit in at any school. I have continuously been improving and I think that my best times are still ahead of me!
