Personal Statement
My name is Emmalee Ciriacks. I was born in Phoenix, AZ and have grown up in Wisconsin. I am a two-sport student-athlete. My primary track event is triple-jump, while I also compete at a varsity level in long-jump and the 400M dash.
I received the team MVP award freshman, sophomore and junior years after scoring the most varsity points on my track team. My goal this track season is to qualify for sectionals and state in triple jump with at least a distance of 36 feet. I am working on my long-jump distance as well as improving my 400M sprints. I work with a private jumping coach during the offseason to continue improving. (many thanks to my coaches!)
In terms of academics, I take a rigorous course load with multiple honors and AP classes. I am on track to earn a 4.0 combined GPA for all four years. I am also involved in music related activities inside and outside of school. I’ve taken piano lessons since the age of 6 and enjoy competing at a state level.
I was recently interviewed by the West Bend newspaper after performing a piano concerto with the Kettle Moraine Symphony Orchestra. The interview is available online at:

I strive to be the best in everything that I set my mind to. I am a goal-oriented person who will never stop trying to be the best I can, not only for my sake, but the sake of the team. Because of this, I am a perfect fit for a school that offers prestigious academic and athletic challenges. My major field of study is undecided at this point – though I am exploring careers in medical/life sciences or possibly technology/engineering.
