I have been high jumping since I was 10 years old (4th grade) and have enjoyed the sport ever since. I know that participating in collegiate sports is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.
I have been a 3 sport athlete, cross country and basketball, for the first 3 years of high school. I have been told that I am very coachable and easy to get along with. On the track I have run a variety of events including the 300 hurdles, 200, 4 x 100 and 4 x 200. I also tried the triple jump as a freshman. In college I would love the opportunity to concentrate of the high jump, but would also like to try the javelin and maybe the multi events.
All of my high school track results are listed at this link on athletic.net:

In the classroom, I take challenging classes and work hard to strengthen my GPA. I also volunteer at church camps, Fort Atkinson Half Marathon, Fall Crawl and am currently a member of our Spanish Club and Varsity F-Club. I am also employed part time at our local grocery store.
I want to attend a college where I can where I can get a good education and pursue a career in counseling.
