My goal is to receive a scholarship to a D1 college and compete in High Jump and sprints. I just started doing track and High Jump my sophomore year after years of playing soccer. It was the best decision I've ever made! That first year, I went to State. I then joined an AAU Club team, Milwaukee Speed Academy, to work on my skills all year long and become a multi-event athlete. I've been told by coaches that I'm very coachable. I'm a well-rounded student-athlete, with a great GPA even while taking challenging AP classes. I'm so glad I made the switch to track. The environment of a track team feels like family, and it's already taught me so much about hard work, resilience and how to have fun.
