Personal Statement
The eight grade was my first look into the volleyball world. Little did I know, I would grow to love this sport and have a passion for it like no other. What makes me different from other recruits is my determination to be a successful volleyball player. I strive to get better every time I touch a volleyball or step foot on the court. I am very coachable and love to hear constructive criticism. I am pleased to say that I am an honor student. I believe in being a student-athlete. I take my education just as serious as I do volleyball. My character as a teammate could be summed up by the award I was given at the end of my Sophomore year. My coach, Janie Wiggins, said " This young lady is also one of those who's had a smile on her face. (She) was just great for the team, and someone you just really want your kid to be around. This is someone I was so proud to have on our team. It didn't matter where I played her, was always respectful and just a good person."
My immediate goals:
Collegiate goals:
- I would like to play volleyball for a Division I,II, or III competitive team.
- Play for a school that offers a Social Work major.
