Personal Statement
Maybe Im not the tallest OH at 5'9" but I have a 9'5" approach jump and a 25" vertical that I am working to get both even higher. I love the hard work and challenges that an athlete gets from playing. My goal in life is to go college and graduate with a degree in education or physical therapy. I am aware that my education is the utmost IMPORTANCE to my future and playing college volleyball will help complete my dreams. I know I have what it takes to achieve my goals and the heart to accomplish my dreams. I am very competitive and strive to be the best at everything I do. I feel I can attain anything through God, effort, skill and perseverance.
Recommendations:
"It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Kaylynn Luster in her pursuit of collegiate volleyball. As Kaylynn’s club volleyball coach for the 2013-2014 season, I had the privilege of watching her evolve not only as a player, but as a person and a leader. Kaylynn embodies the tenacity and motivation a coach hopes to find in any athlete. She loves the sport of volleyball and is educated in the sport beyond just one position. Kaylynn knows volleyball: from referee duties to scoring details to the plethora of rule differences that flow from high school to club ball. This type of knowledge is what makes Kaylynn more than just a volleyball player; she is a tremendous student and advocate of the sport. Any volleyball program fortunate enough to have Kaylynn on its roster will benefit greatly from her profound volleyball intellect and her consistent work ethic."
