Personal Statement
I’ve always had a passion for sports. I love to try new things. My collegiate goals include playing volleyball at a high level of competition while majoring in business economics. I strive to be the best at everything I do; I am never scared of competition. I use it as motivation to be the best. I love working hard to discipline myself in order to achieve all my goals. I am always looking for constructive criticism to make me a better player on the court and benefit my team. My academics are my main focus. I currently have a 3.9 GPA. My freshman year I finished with a 4.0 GPA and finished sixth in my entire class.
I think it is always important to give back. I am fortunate to be presented with so many diverse opportunities. I am very involved with soup kitchens, homeless shelters, retirement homes, and children with special needs. I always enjoy being there and putting my time into helping people. Doing all these events have shaped me to be a better person. Each event has taught me something new, and I use all of the new lessons to help me become a better person and player.
