Whitney Lockard '18 Recruiting Profile

As a high school volleyball player I grew the most last year.  As a junior joining a team with 7 seniors who had played together for 6 years playing time was not easy to come by.  Throughout the season I was slowly getting in more and more rotations.  During our last home game before nationals, our starting outside hitter fell and broke her elbow.  As the only replacement outside hitter it became my responsibility to fill in the gap the starter left and help lead our team to win the 2016 NCHVC nationals.  Winning the undisputed gold ball taught me leadership, patience, and humility, and helped me see my own potential as a player.  I am hoping to find a great school and volleyball team.  As a student athlete I aspire to make an impact for Christ through academics and athletics.
