I am a 5'9" senior at Apache Junction High School and I am currently on the varsity volleyball team. I have been playing volleyball since I was in seventh grade. From the moment I picked up a volleyball, I fell in love. I aspire to play volleyball at the collegiate level. I am very hard working on and off the volleyball court.
I work harder everyday to improve my game. I'm a very dedicated athlete and I am very coachable. I am always willing to play a new position. I learn from the mistakes I make on the court and use them as a learning experience. I am also a leader on and off the court. I encourage my teammates to become the best player they can be.
A quality education has always been my number one goal. I believe that a quality education is important to success in life. I have always excelled in the classroom. I maintain a 3.7 GPA while playing two sports (volleyball, track and field). I will be taking my SATs and ACTs this year. Receiving a quality college education and playing volleyball would be the perfect combination for me. If given the opportunity, I will work hard and strive to perform beyond all expectations.
