Personal Statement

My name is Allison Schaller. I was born in Arizona and have lived here for most of my life. My parents were both in the Air Force and have taught me the value of hard work, accountability, and integrity. Most importantly they have taught me to never give up on myself or my dreams because you never know what could happen at any given moment.

Volleyball came naturally to me when I was just seven years old. It has become the one thing I live and breath. My biggest dream is to play volleyball at college while I am earning my degree in English. I believe that with dedication and hard work this dream will become a reality for me.

I have had some amazing teachers who have inspired me to pursue a degree in English. I want to teach high school English and be a positive influence to others as my teachers have been to me.

After college, not only do I want to become an English teacher but I would love to coach kids the sport I love. For the past three years I have coached seventh and eighth graders and ended up leading them to championship each year. We even won championship one of the years. Good teaching leads to a higher success rate and I believe I have what it takes to coach after college.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
