Freddie Campbell '14 Recruiting Profile

Sports have been my passion for as long as I can remember. I have worked hard in athletics and academics throughout high school to pursue my dream of playing volleyball at a collegiate level.

I am a very competitive, determined person which creates intensity within my game. I excel under adversity and feel this will allow me to play at the college level. As a player I am extremely coachable, and dedicated to bettering my skills. I am a supportive teammate and can fill the leadership role when required. I was captain of my team for my senior year.

As a student, I love to learn and am excited to begin studying for my future. Aboriginal law, social psychology and journalism interests me, but I would like to keep my options open because I know I will be exposed to new subjects at college.

For the past six years I have dedicated my free time to the challenges of sport. While training and participating as an athlete, I have also helped coach at volleyball camps at the regional college, coached the bantam girls team at my high school, and actively fund raised since my grade 7 year.

I believe my love of sport and of helping others experience the joys of sport will keep me eagerly involved in volleyball for the rest of my life.
