Jacqueline Kupeli '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Jackie Kupeli. I am in 11th grade at Monte Vista High School in Danville, California and this past club season I was the libero/DS for Vision 16 Gold. Over the past four years of playing club volleyball, I have grown an ardent attachment to this sport and wish carry it through college. My goal is attend a highly academic school. In addition, I would prefer a coast school (East or West). However, I am open to anything and everything. Throughout my volleyball career, I have helped my high school team win the EBALL and NCS Championships two years in a row. During my club years, I was voted captain and led those teams to many victories. Aside from leading my volleyball team, I was captain of my club basketball team for 5 years. While playing basketball and volleyball, I was exposed to the importance of being a well-rounded athlete and how crucial it is to be versatile. However, I have now committed myself to solely volleyball. In addition to showing my love for the game indoors, I have broadened my interests to the beach courts. I have been playing beach volleyball for 3 years; throughout this time, all my skills as a volleyball player have augmented. My goal while playing college ball is to show how I can make an impact on your team. I am very hardworking and coachable; I always take every practice, game, and touch to heart and make the most of it. I am very dedicated to this sport and enjoy leading teams to victories. Being a libero, I take the back row personally and feel as though it is my job to make others around me better at defense. I am looking forward to carrying over my passion of the game through college and even afterwards.
