My name is Brittney Pinzon and I want to thank you for taking the time to read and view my profile.
I am currently playing as the starting setter for Goldenwest Volleyball Club 17 Asics (#1 team), a club based in Anaheim, CA. I have been playing club volleyball since 6th grade. All of these 6 years of club, I played on the 1's team. I earned a silver medal at the USA High Performance tournament in Colorado Springs, Colorado in July 2015. I train for strength and conditioning with my teammates three to four days a week. When I do not have volleyball practice, I play my ukulele and spending time in Disneyland.
I set for the Varsity team( three- year letterman) at Rosary Academy in Fullerton, California. I earned the Trinity League Second team in 2015. I've been a scholar athlete since my freshman year. I am very competitive and disciplined in the classroom, carrying a GPA of 4.0 and above from freshman to present. I am a member of the National Honors Society and California Scholarship Federation. I enjoy being a Royal ambassador which means I represent my school, visiting middle private schools, talking about my school's vision, goal and what we stand for. I love taking questions from the 8th graders, sharing my high school experiences in both academic and sports arena.
I consider myself as a vocal leader, offensive minded, coachable, team player, great work ethic and loves to compete.
I believe in hard work, discipline, mental toughness and positive outlook.
It is my dream to play college volleyball, having a great time playing a game that I love, having fun and at the same time, getting an education at a school with a good academic program.
