Personal Statement

My name is Shae Marie Diaz and I consider myself to be a hardworking, coachable and a determined athlete. I excel and give 100% in all that I do in life. I take my academic schedule seriously and I balance my busy life with both Varsity and Club Volleyball year round. I also believe in giving back. I devote a great deal of my off time volunteering through a program I've been committed to called National Charity League since my 7th grade year. This allows me to do charity work each and every year. This organization has made realize and appreciate all the good things in my life. My favorite charity is to work with helping to provide food to our local families in need.

My favorite off season time is spent playing "sand volleyball" when I can. I enjoy playing in tournaments during the summer months which helps me continue to train further.

Some special accomplishments have been making the Frosh 59 2013 list as well as making the Soph 79 2014 list. My Freshman year, I was honored with the Most Improved Player on Varsity. This year 2014, as a Junior, I was given Offensive MVP as well as selected to the 1st All Conference Team in our Trinity League. In school I strive to be the best student I can be and also I give 110% to the game of volleyball. My coach taught me that it's not just about the power, it's about understanding, anticipating and playing smart. This is the kind of player you will get with me on the court.

If you consider me as a player on your team, you will get nothing but hard work, commitment and a strong will to be a successful team player! One of my favorite quotes " It's not how big you are, it's how big you play".

Thank you for your time!

Shae Diaz

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
