Volleyball has always been more than just volleyball for me. It has taught me so much. Volleyball has been an outlet for me and has helped me grow as a person as well as a player. I started playing club volleyball when I was 12. Playing volleyball has taught me to be more than just a team player, it has taught me to work with people, respect people, and be a leader. I believe I can bring a lot to a team. I have a passion for volleyball that gives me a drive everytime I step onto the court. 

Since I was 12 I have always known I wanted to play college volleyball. I have been a captain on my team every year. As much as I see it as an honor I see it as more than that. I see it as a responsibility to my teammates, my coach and to me. I need to push my teammates to excel and make them the best they can be and also hold myself to that standard. I am a competitive player when it comes to volleyball, I want to win. I want to win though in a respectful and humble manner. 

Academically, I have a 3.6 GPA and I love to challenge myself in school. I have been able to maintain a steady GPA and take honors courses while playing multiple sports. This is one of the reasons I am confident that I will be able to play and maintain my studies at a college level. 

Overall, I would love to pursue my dream of playing college volleyball at a competitive school that will push me to be the best possible me.
